This winter sees the biggest shake up in Sydney’s party land since Ivy opened its doors. Gusto International are excited to announce the next chapter of Fierce Angel, to be held in true style at the brand new Upstairs Beresford on Sunday, 10th July. Be one of the first to experience this lavish new level of one of Sydney’s most iconic haunts, designed with the truly amazing style and elegance that is Merivale’s trademark.

To celebrate this truly special occasion, UK’s acclaimed DJ/producer duo Moto Blanco will return to Australia for the first time since 2007. Moto Blanco are regular performers on the Fierce Angel stage around the globe and have produced track after track on many of the Fierce Angel compilations. The guys will be serving up a fresh slice of the funky, the uplifting and the damn right groovy to tantalize your aural taste buds, so polish up those dancin’ shoes.

Firing on all cylinders alongside this highly renowned remixers will be Sydney’s very own Fierce Angel residents Oxford Hustlers, who will keep your heart racing with their latest selection of dance tracks including their UK radio #1 single “Love U More”.

Adding fuel to the fire will be one of Sydney’s finest, Troy Cox who will  heat up the dance floor with his always effervescent musical swagger. Tommy Kelly also joins the Fierce family to set the dance floor ablaze with his refreshing selection of stylish vocal beats. Complimenting this high-class team is the legendary Australian funk and soul diva Shauna Jensen, bringing the winter temperature to a record high with her unshakable and unmistakable vocals.

The Australian Museum – After Hours Sessions

Each Tuesday from February 1 the Australian Museum is turning up the heat and opening its doors for after-hours sessions.  Featuring the very latest in art, live music, dance, film and new ideas, Jurassic Lounge is the Australian Museum as you’ve never seen it before.

From dusk, Jurassic Lounge invites guests to explore the Museum at their leisure and discover an array of live acts set against the spectacular backdrop of dinosaurs, skeletons, and quirky Australian animals.

Kicking off the program on opening night will be a stellar line up of entertainment including a live performance by Daisy M. Tulley (Bridezilla), a silent disco featuring Lone Wolf, a performance from drag diva Maxi Shield, live illustration by Sydney artist Brad Robson, and a short film program from the Kino Collective.
